A fun and expansive park that can entertain all types- not only young and old, but also of the four legged variety. My son and daughter and our newly adopted Beagle visited here to meet some friends (and their also recently adopted dog) for a play date, and it was a very fun time in a pristine riverside setting. We started out at the dog park, which isn't huge, but definitely has a lot of room for the pups to run, as well as a gate system that keeps the dogs safe from escaping. After that, the kids went to the playground area, and really enjoyed the fast metal slides of the eclectic playground structure. It is a rather small play area, but the kids had a good time climbing and moving. And the area in whole is large and has some great views of the river as you walk along. Overall, it was a nice little afternoon respite, and a place I expect to come back to again when my dog and my kids need a chance to get moving.

This park is amazing. It has a very unique slide and I've heard that they have these neat swings that hang above the river, but we've been there 3 times in the past month and they aren't ever hung up. The dock is beautiful and a great place to fish, watch the sunset, or maybe even do yoga (if you're into that sort of thing lol). There's a little place to rent kayaks, and there's also these two giant swing things that are big enough to fit 3 adults. It's a beautiful park and my family and I really enjoy going there.

A great spot for a break. Newly renovated space from old train tracks and scrap yard into an idyllic community park. Has restrooms in a visitor center. There are benches, docks, amphitheaters, a kids play area, and a modest sized dog park. Lots of parking. The walking/ bike path is partly paved, the rest being cinder, mostly flat, and will get you as far as Sharpsburg. Does have a great view of the bridges. I’d love for it to connect to the river front trail that goes to the North Side.

We adore this park in general (a favorite for bird watching) but were particularly thrilled to host a brunch event in the patio room recently. We got lucky with a fall weather morning, so could open the doors and have fresh air. Our guests loved walking onto the dock area and taking some pictures, and we took advantage of the indoor/outdoor space to all spread out a bit.

Nadia met us in the morning and made sure were had everything we needed (which we did thanks to the super detailed event host guide provided prior to the event). The park provided tables and chairs, and we just rented some linens and brought...
