Cute little "catch all" ice cream and snack shop in Aspinwall. My wife and I stopped on a Sunday after dinner at nearby Tepache, and got some ice cream on a warmer than expected October evening. The staff was friendly and the vibe of the place was fun and definitely kid oriented, which is always good for a place like an ice cream shop. The offerings seemed to be centered around said ice cream, but they also offered a wide array of almost random snacks, such as donuts and pretzels. It reminded me of a beachside canteen a bit in that way. I got the apple pie ice cream, and it was pretty good, with the pieces of apples and crust being preferred over simply flavoring agents. I think you can find better ice cream at few places around Pittsburgh (and the price for portion was kind of high, but makes sense for the area), but overall, it was a nice visit, and seems a great stop if you are in the Aspinwall area and have younger children in tow.

The place was nice and homey. The service was top notch. The vanilla ice cream was fantastic. I normally get that first so I can see if they are working with a strong base or not. Their cinnamon roll was a cross between a honey bun and a cinnamon roll. Was good just felt like it needed a different glaze. The apple dumpling was good. The apple was soft. The pastry has a really good texture to it, but the sauce with the apple dumpling has too much nutmeg in it for me. The cinnamon was a bit over powdered. Otherwise it was really good.

Great little ice cream shop with rotating seasonal flavors! The options are pretty limited but I like their changing unique options, price is also fairly reasonable too. The marshmallow coffee was really good, with fluff mixed in but the coffee flavor could have been stronger. Same with their graham cracker flavor that had big pieces mixed in but the ice cream itself didn’t taste like much. Overall, I think it’s a great neighborhood ice cream shop to stop in and I hope they continue doing really fun flavors!

Hosted my 3-year-old's birthday party here and it was excellent! The kids did a cute ice cream craft, and each kid got to choose a hot dog or pretzel to eat with a juice box. Then they had a dance party, which was really engaging - one song with bubbles, one with scarves, the limbo, etc. Then we sang happy birthday and the kids all got to decorate their sundae with sprinkles and Oreos and such. We opened a tab for the adults to get food and Redhawk coffee (the best!). It was SO easy and very affordable. All the parents kept saying how great it was. Cannot recommend this place enough for an easy...
