I arrived at this store 30 minutes prior to closing and the doors were LOCKED. Completely unacceptable. I understand if a store wants to lock the doors 10 minutes prior but 30 minutes early?? I was there at 8:30pm on the dot and they close at 9pm. That means they locked the doors more than 30 minutes prior to closing. I called corporate and filed a complaint as well. People travel 20-30 minutes to get to stores here in Atlanta - just to be turned away because the employees do not want to do their job like at this Dollar Tree here. I have sat here writing this review for 15 minutes and almost 10 people have been turned away. So the excuse for closing early due to sales is void. There are paying customers being turned away. This behavior is completely inconsiderate. I will never be back.

This is the second time that I have visited this location during opening hours and it has been closed! From the outside the store looks to be well organized but staff members say they aren’t open because there’s a lot of “$&@!” going on. Hopeful that things are straightened out soon! Glad that store #5242 ( 2034 Metropolitan Pkwy) is just around the corner and never disappoints with having some good stuff available.

Gosh! If I could skip the star. They deserve NONE! My sister and I were shopping in the location at 2020 Campbellton Rd SW in the Cascade community. The first sign was that the store is extremely nasty with product everywhere. We grabbed the few things we needed and headed to check out. We were at the only register that was open at this location... first register despite the extremely long line. Customers were yelling for assistance for the cashier. Then it happen...the register froze on my sister's transaction. The cashier called over head for Jesse perhaps the manager to come assist. She didn't come. A customer...maybe employee or friend, went to look for her for the cashier. The help came after several minutes, dragging to assist the cashier but not assisting us in the transaction. When we asked could we be assisted, she said it was only fair to assist the people next in line. BUT WE were still here. Then they tried to explain that there was something going on with the register and it had to reboot to get our receipt. Well the register came back up but ask my sister to pay again. WHAT!?!?! She has a text and the transaction is on the NFCU that the funds were pending for withdrawal like the other purchases at other stores. She gave us attitude and said it happens all the time it will go back to your card in a few minutes. My sister called the police because they would not let us leave with the product nor give us a refund or receipt. Over an hour later the police showed up and the transaction was still on the bank report. No refund and no products. UNBELIEVABLE!!! What if that was our last 24 plus dollars and we needed the products to feed our family and now they want us to wait until Tuesday for the refund or for the transaction to cancel. That is not acceptable. The register took the fund immediately. It should have been a way to complete the transaction with good customer service and good faith but instead the manager acted as if we were the problem and not the equipment. HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE. But of course they treat us how they want and teach us how to mistreat each other. We must do better as a people. If you need video, I can share. It will be...

The manager is very rude and old. She runs the store like it's a concentration camp. Btw the name of the store is the dollar tree, not the 98 cents plus store. They also have this tacky unprofessional sign up there in the window about no bags of any kind allowed. The manager, while the floor was filled with boxed merchandise, felt the need to have a full conversation with someone instead helping get the very long line down. The woman was very rude and ghetto. No customer service. I found her scan gun on a shelf on an aisle she was nowhere near, do you know what she did when I returned it to her? She tells the front cashier to do a security scan. Not only is that a blow to my intelligence, it offends me that she would think that I would steal something that's a dollar. Her attitude is not worth a dollar and it's sad that she would even attempt to go after my character with that nonsense.i will not be returning to that store ever. I recommend no one else goes...

I was met with one of the rudest cashiers I’ve ever encountered in retail. After patiently standing in line while she finished ringing up another customer, I moved my few items (a couple bars of soap and chips) onto the counter—only for her to suddenly look up and announce, “I’m closed.”

She had watched me wait the entire time without saying a word, only to dismiss me once I was next. By then, another cashier had just opened a different lane and a long line had already formed. It was clear she simply didn’t care.

If an employee is about to close their register, it’s basic courtesy to tell customers before they wait—not after. Her lack of professionalism and common decency was unbelievable. I left my items there and walked out, completely disgusted.

This store needs serious attention from...
