I LOVE this museum!! I am a huge fan of Rosemary Clooney and my favorite holiday movie is 'White Christmas', so I was thrilled to be able to visit the Rosemary Clooney House! The home is full of history, amazing photographs, movie memorabilia, and gorgeous costumes! Everything is very well organized, and all of the displays are well done and informative. The guide was very knowledgeable, and told many interesting and funny stories about the Clooney family. The admission price is a bargain at $5, and the gift shop has some lovely ornaments and artwork by Heather French. With the view of the river from the home it is easy to see why Rosemary Clooney wanted to live there. And Augusta is such a lovely little town! Many thanks to Heather French and her husband for purchasing the home, saving all of the wonderful items, and opening the home to the public! We will...

We went to the museum with a group on a Saturday. The tour guide was a local citizen with great knowledge and personal stories of the Clooney's. The collection is growing. The most elaborate exhibits are the costumes from "White Christmas." If you are at all a classic movie buff or just someone who remembers Rosemary Clooney from her musical performances, you will really enjoy this. George Clooney also has a couple of costumes from his movies on display. He limited the number of items of his so as to give maximum attention to his...

I called ahead and got a reservation to have a guided tour, since they are normally closed on Thursdays. They are very accommodating and helpful. The lady that took me on the tour knew Rosemary personally and was super knowledgeable to say the least. Lots of Rosemary's artifacts and also her sister Betty. Also of note is the many items of George Clooney's. I highly recommend the tour. If you have any questions they will be answered for sure. Also of note that there is so much more to this little quaint town. Lots of...
