I recently stayed here with my wife as a part of a package that was graciously donated for a pediatric cancer charity auction by the owner's of Augusta Guest House.
We were greeted by the owners during check-in and were given some tips on what to do around town. They were incredibly friendly and you could tell they put a lot of blood sweat and tears into the place. It is a very old building, circa early 1800s, so needless to say, renovations were still ongoing, but only during mid-day. Breakfast was limited to coffee and muffins but we enjoyed a great breakfast at The General Store just down the block. Sadly our other dining experiences in town were not as enjoyable. Will absolutely plan to return and explore more next summer, and the Augusta Guesthouse will...
