If you are passing through, and they are open, you must stop in and visit the Augusta General Store. I’ve brought a group out from my church, which is about an hour drive, on multiple occasions. The meals aren’t too fancy, but they are just right, and they always have a great selection of pies… but my personal favorite is the Peanut Butter...

We almost didn't eat here because we thought it was just a General store. The food was delicious and it was a bargain. We'll definitely stop back in when we come down route 9. It's worth coming on down to Augusta. Thanks for the great food...

Stopped in for breakfast in overnight trip to Augusta. Eggs, goetta and omelette very good. Pancakes delicious! Cute little general store with antiques and merchandise. Step back in time. Next time will try the ice cream...
