Wolsfelt’s Prom — Attraction in Aurora Township

With everything that has been going on we really did not expect my granddaughter to have prom. She is graduationing early and this is the only year she’ll be able to go. We went to two stores in DeKalb,one that is very well known and there were signs on the door that you had to call for appointments. I remembered Wolfselfts from when my daughter got married. It was an hour drive but definitely worth it. My granddaughter tried on 10 dresses with the very attentive sales girl. All along we were sure the first one was it. But the the sales lady suggested a dress. A very different dress but that was the one. We never would have seen this dress. She suggested accessory s that were perfect. Not once was she pushy. You’ll never find a better store for a prom or wedding dress They take their time, pull as many dresses as you want to try on and never make you feel like your being in the way. Nice people and very helpful. They even had a list of people who could alter the dress. Best experience ever!!!! It’s my daughter Taylor’s first prom and she’s my one and only daughter! We went to one other shop before we came to Wolsfelt’s! When we left the first store we both were in tears no one helped us we were both overwhelmed! I told my daughter it’s okay we will go to another place and we found Wolsfelt’s!!!! When we walked in Taylor was assigned her own personal stylist! She thought she was a princess!!! We had Olivia as her stylist! We loved her!!! The dresses are all sorted by size which I love way less overwhelming! Then Taylor picked out her favorite ones! From there Olivia the stylist went with Taylor to help her try them on. I sat in the waiting area where they come out when they try on each dress! I’m serious it was the best experience! Moms don’t have to stress out they literally took care of everything from the dress, to the shoes, to the jewelry! We will definitely be back next year for Prom!!! We went to Wolsfelt's to look for my daughter's Homecoming dress. We were greeted by Elaina and she proceeded to help us every step of the way. She took so much time with my daughter - helping her into dresses she had chosen and then also picking out a few more that she thought my daughter would like. The dresses are organized by size and are kept in garment bags on the rack which makes it so easy to find the ones to try on and to keep them neat and clean. There are so many dresses to choose from (long and short) and there is a wonderful try on area with a long couch for parents to sit and relax while they wait to see each new dress. I felt that the prices were reasonable and they take time to get each girl's information including high school, so there are no duplicates.
