A fun open and safe place for you kiddos to come and run themselves tired with plenty of shade for the parents to relax and watch them have fun. Several picnic tables nearby in case you have to have lunch, snack, or early dinner with the family. The walk/run/bike track that goes around the park is great to get some cardio in while mostly in the shade to help keep you you not so hot in the summer months. If you fancy another type of activity, there are tennis, volleyball, basketball and even a baseball courts/field to fulfill your sports itch. People that I have encountered there have always been friendly and should feel safe while enjoying the great outdoors. Enjoy!

I go to run on the crushed granite & paved trails, as well as the connected dirt trails. I don't use the other facilities, but there's a swimming pool and a lot of playground equipment, tennis courts, basketball courts, and large fields. It's a very popular spot for families and yet it is usually spacious enough for all the people enjoying the park.

The loop trail surrounds the park and is about 1 1/2 miles long. There is a spur trail connecting with the Violet Crown Trail with many miles of wide granit trail that is perfect for everybody. Lots of wildflowers in rhe spring, Youpon Holly are in their prime in February It is just about 3 miles to Chuys if you want to make it an adventure.

Nice park with concrete paved trail, but now has extra dirt and gravel trails that it is connected to (towards the back of park accessed through smaller dirt trails in the area). There is cast iron exercise equipment along park walking trail. Park has tennis court, basketball court, volleyball courts, swimming pool (though not sure when it will open after COVID), and a children's playground, picnic tables and a large open field that can be used to play soccer...although I have often seen dogs running free after balls. This is not per say a dog park and dogs are welcomed as long as they are leashed at all times and that one cleans up their dog poop. There are signs all over the park indicating this. I often see owners with bigger dogs of leash an I often ask them why they don't comply with the rules. I don't care how well behaved an animal can be there is always a chance it can hurt another dog or child. I hope the enforcement changes and owners quit being so selfish.

Restrooms are available and sidewalks are...

This is a great spot for just about any outdoor adventure! It's a very clean and well maintained park. The trails are paved and decently long and surrounded by trees which gives it a nice reserved feel with no light pollution. There's a fairly large playground for kids to have some fun. There is also a large community pool if you're looking to cool off for a bit. If you want something a bit sportier, they have a large empty field for soccer and football along with some tennis and basketball courts. If you want to stray from the beaten path, you can follow some dirt trails that lead you across the street into a smaller park that has neat cave entrances you can check out. Also, there are some small workout stations along the trail for some calisthenics or bodyweight exercises. Definitely worth checking out, especially if you enjoy a shaded and...
