Love this park, I just came here to share an experience that I hope helps out the next person. I was bitten by a dog (for the first time in my life) at the pump track. It happened super fast; the dog came running up to me barking/biting at my board/feet.
I didn't want to hurt the dog and I was literally on the way to my car so I just went to grab the board and leave since I didn't want to like pop it up at the dog and when I went to grab it the dog bit my hand pretty hard, luckily in a fat part of my hand otherwise I do think it could have at the very least fractured or deep bruised the small bones in my hand, also I am a full grown adult.
This is the main reason for leaving this review, as I just want it to be noted for all the little shredders that hang at the pump track and their parents to just beware of the dogs right next to the track as there is no separation between the off leash area and the track. I know a lot of dogs hate skateboards but I also figured it was just too far away to really bother them.
I absolutely told the lady she was lucky her smallish blond poodle/labradoodle wasn't injured and she said that it had never acted that way before...
Lastly, I'm saying all of this here b/c the process of filing a police report or a bite report would have required me to go to the hospital and as the dog seemed cared for and the lady told me it was vaccinated and it was collared and so forth and since I wasn't bleeding "severely", I just went home and washed out the hole in my hand with soapy water for several minutes and applied an antibiotic ointment.
Again, I love this park and I just want people to be able to enjoy it without having the same experience I did; just be aware of the things happening around you, especially on the...

Read moreI started skating again with my wife and kids out of town. I’m a bit more brittle that I was as a kid. But the pump track is awesome because it has a Rollin and you can go through it not too fast until you get your legs under you. I’ve gone here about six times now and every single time I go I make a friend. There’s almost always dad’s with her young kids as well as the more hard-core skater group. Even those kids are super welcoming and I’ve seen them cheering for young kids. Learn to skate board multiple times. I remember growing up the skate park was a bit of an intimidating place, but I don’t think this place is intimidating at all. There’s no graffiti it’s super clean it’s got a family vibe and from 9 PM to 10 PM. There’s often music and a...
