Wake Riderz Boat Rental Lake Austin — Attraction in Austin

We ended our family trip with an unforgettable private tour of Lake Austin, and I can’t say enough good things about Wake Riderz. After being a bit underwhelmed by Lady Bird Lake (even after a great bat cruise and stunning sunset), I called Wake Riderz on a whim Saturday afternoon — and Kelly worked her magic to get us out on the water Sunday night.

What followed was nothing short of spectacular. My 75-year-old dad has watched the Dell Match Play golf tournament for years and always dreamed of seeing Austin Country Club and the 360 Bridge in person. Thanks to Kelly and our incredible Captain Spencer, we got to cruise right past the course and spend time soaking it all in — a once-in-a-lifetime moment for our family.

The boat was beautiful, the water like glass, and the weather couldn’t have been better. Seeing Mozart’s Coffee from the water (after visiting twice that weekend!) and jumping in for a swim added to the fun. Spencer was relaxed, genuine, and super knowledgeable — pointing out local sights and giving us space to enjoy the moment, even letting us play our own music when the time was right. Bonus highlight: seeing Lucky the Swan (and thankfully not having to square off with him!).

Truly a night we’ll never forget. Wake Riderz gave us the perfect finale to my parents’ first visit to Austin. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else for my next Lake...

Before booking with Wake Riderz, I did a lot of research and I am so glad I went with this company. Their price was the most reasonable and we didn't want to rent a "party boat" because it's really a family trip for us.

We had a wonderful time with Captain Ronaldo Gomez on Lake Austin during Memorial Day weekend. There was clear communication from the beginning and they were able to accommodate us for an additional hour so our total trip was for 3 hours. It was a great decision on our part since it was the perfect amount of time for our family.

Captain Ronaldo was great! He was very chill and friendly. We had a group with age ranges from 2YO to 44 and he was able to accommodate and get along well with all of us. He took us to two different coves to swim and were able to point out interesting and fun facts on all the sites. The platoon boat was also super clean and he had life jackets all ready for the children.

Both the water and the weather were perfect. I will definitely come back and work with Wake...

Let me start by saying I RECOMMEND WAKE RIDERZ TO ANYONE VISITING AUSTIN TX 1000%!!! My family and I visited Austin for 3 days and the best day for sure was spent out on the boat with Ronaldo. Leading up to the boat ride, they made sure to keep in steady communication with us getting to the dock location and were very helpful. The ride itself was pretty amazing. Ronaldo felt like the cousin we never knew and helped us create an experience we’ll always remember. I don’t know if we were just the lucky family or if every captain is hand picked like he was but needless to say we felt blessed to have him there to make the short trip that much more special. Saved his number so that every time we’re in Austin we make sure we book him. 10 Stars for this company....
