This is an excellent minor league park where the staff is working hard to give you a good experience. On a typical night you'll be well served and have a great time. If you go on an extraordinarily busy night concessions will be slow, but that's true at every single park in America. Anyone who doesn't realize that simply hasn't gone to many different baseball parks. Not that I'm saying you should avoid the park if it's packed; those days are a blast with a large crowd cheering around you - just don't expect to go up and stand in line for 30 seconds to get a beer.
As for the team itself, the Crushers are in the independent Frontier League, which means that the games actually mean something and that players aren't just there so that they can get their batting average up 2% and move up to another level. Unlike most affiliated minor league players, they are more likely to care about wins. It also means that if you start going to the games on a regular basis the second baseman and catcher aren't likely to disappear a month into the season and turn a good team into rubbish over night. You can actually be a fan of the team instead of simply watching to see which prospects pass through.

Read moreCrushers stadium was easy to find off state route 2. Plenty of regular, handicap, and bus/RV parking. Parking is cash only and runs from $4-$6. You can also drop off family members if they are unable to walk long distances at the main entrance before parking. There is a smoking section outside the main gate. Security will search bags before going in. There are stairs to climb once in the main gate. I would call and ask about wheelchair access in the main entrance. Once inside the park, plenty of regular and wheelchair seating. Restrooms are clean and near the snack bar. Park does serve alcohol. There are inflatable slides etc in the kids play area. Cost is $5 and child is given a wrist band. See website for more details. Reasonable prices for families on a budget. The staff is very informative and friendly. It was wonderful to be at a baseball game again!! Had a great time with...
Read moreMy kids LOVE going to the baseball games during the summer. The ticket prices are cheap for regular seats. On Friday nights they have themes, such as Christmas in July and Star Wars. The staff dressed as elves (even though it was almost 90°!) and as Star Wars charactes like Chewy. They also, on some weekends, have an EXCELLENT fireworks show! It's a good 20 minutes long and is better than some 4th of July shows. It's never super packed so when the kids get bored we can roam around. They have a kids area with bounce houses. There are two, the smaller one is for little kids and the bigger one is an obstacle course. Our 5 year old desperately wanted to go through the bigger course. We were fine with it knowing he was perfectly capable of completing the course, but apparently it is state law and not a stadium rule. There is also a large grassy mound for the kids to roll down inside of...
