This is such a cute and beautiful park settled in a Baldwin Park neighborhood. This park is by no means hard to find but is incredibly centered away from any large streets and freeways so the people coming here are solely coming here as a destination.

I have walked here twice and I am in love with this park. There is a small loop around the park which is a good place to get some exercise whether you are walking, running, or walking and taking your time with some of the exercise equipment spread around the park.

There are a bunch of nice plants you wouldn't really find anywhere else in Baldwin Park, jungle gym equipment for the kiddos, scattered benches and picnic tables, central location where the Park Center is with some shade and picnic tables as well, water fountains, and even an old wooden bridge for what used to be a creek that ran through the park. The park also sits next to a dried up waterway which I assumed used to have water when we weren't in a drought.

This park doesn't get too busy so the parking lot should never be filled but there is always parking in the nearby neighborhoods.

All-in-all, this is such a beautiful small park. I would definitely come back from time to time for just a nice...

It’s a lovely park that lets you commune with nature with its paved trails, picnic tables, and play areas made of real logs. Great for dog walkers. Exercise stations spread throughout the park.

Someone said the restrooms were clean. Uhhh no. The mens restroom was dark, the sink was gross, and it stank! We walked right out. So avoid if possible.

There are some pretty ingenious obstacle courses. Unfortunately the play areas are MOSTLY geared towards older kids that have Ninja Warrior type climbing/ balancing skills (ages 5+), though younger kids may still like getting introduced to. The one play area for the younger kids… functional but broken. There’s even a real boulder for young...

Absolutely beautiful!! Looks rustic, Forest-like. Cobblestone bathroom with definition of 'wash' and 'basin', etc. (very enlightening), and even a fire place (which is closed off and haven't found out how to access it or when it is lit), bbq grill, benches, trails around the park and looks like there could be a hiking trail leading out from here, as well as a(dry) river bed, and appears to have indigenous shrubs/trees. And a small obstacle course in the playground area. I could hear some wild, exotic birds in the trees. It's surrounded by an affluent residential area. Very clean, peaceful, but parking lot is tiny. Not much shade yet as the trees seem young. Overall A+. I WILL...

Walnut Creek Nature Park sure looks different from when I used to come here some 30 yrs ago.. a small park in a culdesac area in Baldwin Park. The walking trails used to be gravel that is now paved & the bridge has completely been renovated .. There are several playgrounds on one end of the park and it has a complete facelift of its landscape , the park has two gender restrooms and drinking fountains. There's a wooden deck with picnic tables and benches. There is another area with picnic tables and benches.. small parking lot . Park closes at dusk.
