It was my first time here at this facility for my pain. I got bit by a spider in the morning and it was so painful to ignore. Since I was at the El Monte area which was very close to this place kaiser do I decided to come in. It took me almost 4 hrs from the ER to see the doctor FROM THE waiting LINE. There were approximately 25-20 people was waiting. One nurse to fill the questionnaire and one RN to check on you. It was found in very nail slowing paces. Finally, it was my turn to see a Doctor, it took around 5 minutes waiting, and 2-3 minutes diagnosis and questions/answers. He was nice and shoot straight to the points. I got a flu shot after I requested cane very fast with minutes. I waited for another 15-20’ for my payment after I asked for a discharge. After that went by, I waited for another 30 minutes for my paperwork so I could get the hell out that place. Nurses went back and forth and some of them just stood there and just talking. I was frustrated so I asked the people at the work stations if they could help me with paper works and send me home. I came to this place at 12 pm and now it was 5.05 pm. Within 2 minutes someone came with my discharged paper and finally a nurse showed up and handed me the papers. I understand that they are professionals, and dedicated to the line of works, they also should follow up with their patients. The pharmacy was nice and cleaned staffs were fast and incredibly awesome friendly. Still, this is my first and last to use this facility.

Kaiser is not my HMO, but my GF needed a prescription picked up because she was sick and so off I went. Even though the doctor called in the prescription, I still had to check in when I arrived before they would fill the prescription. An hour later, it was finally ready. Why couldn't they start filling the scrip when the doctor called? If I was sick, I would have been sitting in a packed waiting area getting others sick. Since I wasn't sick, I couldn't help but wonder if I would catch something while I was waiting. Compared to my HMO where there are smaller offices for visits and the use of multiple pharmacies to visit, with drive thru, making it quicker and more convenient, I cant see how this is more efficient or safe. At least I only needed to pay $2.50 for two scrips. I don't think my insurance would have been much more, but will give them some credit for that. I for one won't be switching HMO's even though Kaiser plan is less expensive.

We had such a positive experience delivering our baby Gianna at Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park. The entire staff, from the nurses in L&D to the postpartum team, was phenomenal. Big shoutout to Nurse Rajeeni, Nurse Laura, Dr. Lee, and Dr. Pan. They were attentive, kind, and made us feel so well-cared-for. I felt respected, heard, and supported in all my decisions. The rooms were also clean and comfortable, which made our stay that much better. We truly felt like we were the only patients there. To all the nurses, doctors, and staff: Words cannot express my gratitude. From the bottom of my heart, I am sincerely thankful for your exceptional care and compassion during a very challenging time. You are all true heroes.

My name is Manuel Jaramillo, and I was a patient on the 5th floor, bed 5022 at Kaiser Permanente of Baldwin Park, from 06/01/2025 when I was admitted straight from the ER until 06/03/2025, when I was released... and although I had superior treatment by all the personnel, Erika, RN, Chris, RN, Bica (sp?) Head Nurse, Christian, RN, I came in contact with during my stay, 3 people stand out and would like to recognize publicly... 1st, Dr Schwartz at the ER, man, this DR has spectacular bedside manners and explained everything that was going on, down to the T. How I was being treated for a stroke and the CT's then that I would be admitted to the Hospital... he made of a very stressful situation, one that put me at ease. Thank you, Dr. Schwartz, even my wife, who was with me at the ER, was, wow, that must be one of the nicest Doctors that I've been in contact with! Erika (sp?) and Then at the change of shift, Chris, both RN's were great, thank you very much, then the day shift came and with that, it brought Cynthia-RN and Araceli (CNA) Wow, I am not sure how they did it, but they made me feel as if they were my personal RN and CNA respectively... as soon as I needed something, get water,' go to the restroom, etc, just to give some examples, they would come in with a smile on their faces and assist me with whatever my need would-could be at the moment... And I know that Cynthia went well above and beyond the call of duty when she went to the pharmacy to pick my meds... and then, when I was released from the Hospital and transport was not ready for me, then once again chipped in and took me on my wheelchair down to my friends car... made sure I got in carefully, shook my hand goodbye turn around with the wheelchair and I suppose went back to the 5th floor to take care of the rest of her patients.... today, 1st day out of the hospital and I miss Cynthias care already... KPBP, Thank you for the care and professionalism that you showed me during my...

My overall experience was phenomenal. The L&D nurses Sylvia and Frances went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and reminded that I was pushing good during delivery. They pump me up to give me the push I need to deliver my baby safely. I wouldn’t have done it without them.

At MotherBaby, Joanne and Ming were also phenomenal. They provided me with all items I needed so I can feel better during my healing process of the 3rd degree tear. They were constantly checking in on us making sure we had everything we needed to feel comfortable. I feel that my recovery has been good due to both Joanne and Ming providing me with ways to make my healing better.

The lactation nurses on the other-hand, I’m not content. I feel that they didnt listen to my concerns. I felt that I wasnt producing enough colostrum for my baby and I kept asking about formula. They completely dismissed what I said and told me that my baby was fine because she was pooping and peeing normally. I kept trying and trying with trying to breastfeed and hand compressions to make more colostrum and spoon feed or syringe for my baby and it was hardly anything coming out. Again, I asked for formula and they told me to trust the process that I was doing fine. Due to the pressure of breastfeeding, I ended up dehydrating my baby and ended up at the ER on our first night home. Turns out my baby just needed formula and was then a happy baby and the crying stopped. The lactation nurses need to not be so anti formula and not put so much pressure on mothers...

On July 03, 2024, I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Vishal Sanatkumar Patel, M.D., at the Head & Neck Surgery department on the 3rd floor of Kaiser Permanente in Baldwin Park. Dr. Patel was nothing short of phenomenal and amazing!

From the moment I met Dr. Patel, I was impressed by his professionalism, enthusiasm, and warm demeanor. He is a very patient doctor who truly cares about his patients. His ability to actively listen and address concerns made me feel comfortable and confident in his care.

Dr. Patel’s expertise in his field is evident. Throughout the entire process, I felt assured by his vast experience and knowledge. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly, ensuring I understood each step without overwhelming me with medical jargon.

In addition to Dr. Patel, I also want to commend his LVN III, Ms. Sheila Medina. Sheila was phenomenal and an absolute rockstar! She was professional, attentive, and made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Her caring attitude and exceptional service greatly enhanced my experience.

I strongly recommend Dr. Patel and Sheila to anyone seeking medical care in their specialty. Their exceptional skills and compassionate approach set them apart from other healthcare professionals. Dr. Patel and Sheila are second to none, and I am grateful for the outstanding care I received from them.

Thank you, Dr. Patel and Sheila, for your dedication and remarkable service. You have truly made a positive impact on my...
