CHINA EX Carryout is a staple in the community of Nothern Village. It is in the shopping center off of E. Northern Pkwy and McClean Blvd. I've personally been patronizing this place for over 20 years! I've only ever gotten the Fried chicken and fried rice combo, complete with a half n' Half. Always top their! The only drawbacks is that the onions are strong and will linger wherever you eat at for a while. They male all food 'made to order.' So, calling your order in may help speed the process, but, not all the time. Otherwise, great service and the community loves it!

Great fare, very courteous staff. They definitely go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. The menu is just chocked full of tasty little goodies. I really enjoyed my order as much as my visit there. I'll be ordering again real soon. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 ADDENDUM: As I stated, the fare was so good I was going to revisit soon. Well, soon turned out to be the very next day. It was even better the next day. I even sampled the shrimp toast. I have to say it was the best shrimp toast I have ever eaten. Bravo to the chef and awesome staff at China Ex. The food is worth the wait. 👏🏾

Ordered Chicken Chow Mein, received an inedible, slimy soup instead. I opened it up and it stank, I tried to eat a bite of chicken but it had 0 seasoning and felt like rubber. I travel for work and order the same thing at LITERALLY hundreds of Chinese places, I've never had something so far from Chow Mein. I went back to confirm, and they told me that's just their style. Now everywhere is closed and I'll go to bed without dinner

One of my favorite neighborhood spots. Food is great; but be willing to wait a while even if you've called the order in. Tonight came to pick up my order, made it there well before closing, stood in the line for literally 30-40mins, all to be told that after 2 hours the food is thrown away due to health codes. Well, I had been in the line well within that time frame and trust me when I say, no food was trashed! LOL We all know damn well that no Chinese Food spot is throwing food away.
