Parkway Plaza Shopping Center — Attraction in Barbourville

Your basics are there, prices are Walmart as always, but if you're needing grocery items, at the other end you'll see IGA. Just an example you'll find a 5lb roll of ground beef at Walmart, for hamburgers, and nothing else unless it's frozen. So if you're grilling, need snacks, head there. If you were thinking about KFC, YOU HAVE TO GO IN IGA AND GET YOU A PLATE OR A BOX OF FRIED CHICKEN! The tenders are incredibe, too. Grab some .25 potato wedges while they're hot. Especially if you're passing through, I promise if you like chicken, you're gonna love this. But selection being key at IGA, more brands. Walmart is good for simple things. Fairly nice experience! #1- Nice hospitable personnel! #2-Well-stocked! #3-Non-Dusty Shelves & Items on Shelves. (No parasitic, pesky Dust Mites to get all over you.) #4-Decently clean Womens Room. No strong odors! No spotty bacteria-ridden floors! (May have been freshly cleaned as it was late at night.) #5-Well-functioning checkcard reader machine thus easy, non-time consuming checkout! Overall, from appearances and observing employee interactions A VERY WELL-RUN STORE! Kudos to Management! A rarity with this grocer chain.

Noticed one caveat. This store is SQUEEEEZED into too-limited a space! The Deli Section attests to that in being poorly laid out! Strongly suggest either expanding store boundaries (incorporating lease of store next door or moving to new spacious...

It's okay for the small town it is in. Basically all it has is a Dollar General which is always short staff, under stocked, and dirty. An IGA which is snobby over priced and low quality food. Hallmark.... Well, they are Hallmark..... AT&T store. Chinese Restaurant which I've heard good and bad things. Nail Salon WHICH HAS FABULOUS AND FRIENDLY WORKERS! I reccomend Kelsey for the job! Also, and factory connection privately owned and great if you can catch the clothes you want on sale in your size full price is just not worth the quality of the clothes they are adorable however cheaply made. FINALLY it has a Walmart....Not 24 hours NOT much groceries NOT much of anything besides...
