Hua Ming Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Barbourville

DO NOT EAT HERE. Undoubtedly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. As soon as we walked in, my girlfriend and I were asked to pay before I even got a good look at the “food” they were serving. The buffet had maybe a dozen options for dinner, all of which were an assault on the senses. The chicken on a stick was cold, and when I bit into it there was a disgusting crunch. The general Tso chicken had barely any chicken and was mostly soggy breading. The Hot and Sour soup had the heat of spice but somehow no flavor at all. The spring rolls tasted like they were frozen from the day before and re-thawed for the next day. The Lo Mein was BLACK in some spots! The only thing I could consume without concern for my health were the fountain drinks and the fried potatoes and ketchup. I can guarantee you the owners of this restaurant cut every corner possible. Foam cups and plates, plastic utensils, packets of watery soy sauce, food that gets left out all day to sit and turn to mush. And the bathrooms are utterly sickening. First let me say that I am a regular at Hua Ming. Everything is generally A Ok. However, I ordered to go tonight and when I got it home, the eggs in the egg drop soup were blackish in places. Looked like mold to me. At any rate, I didn't want to eat it so I went back to the restaurant and walked in...everyone stopped and looked at me like I was an alien or something. I walked to the front and said "Is there anyway I can get a fresh one please?" I was going to continue to say what was wrong with it, but the lady snatched it out of my hands and hurried it to the back. I went and sat down to wait for the fresh soup. The lady came walking out holding the container in the air and when I came close enough she shoved it in my hands and said "Here!" Not a grand way to treat your customers. I didn't ask for there to be something wrong with the soup I purchased. I doubt they would've eaten something with grey/black eggs in it either. But regardless, you can be a little nicer to the people who are paying for your food. It remains to be seen if I go back or not. I miss...

All the 1 star reviews are true do not eat here. DO NOT EAT HERE. Caution ⚠️. Unless diarhea,severe stomach cramps,nausea,projectiling vomit, and crack house decore. Is you ideal of a fine dining experience. Do not eat here. I am trying to save you. From a visit to the hospital. Very dirty,run down,food is vile, and got severe food poisoning. Also mold on the ceilings it is also falling apart. However the crab ragoon is amazing. Only thing that is ever good there. Pork on a stick was raw. Styrofoam everything plastic utensils to eat with. This place is definitely a health code violation. A lawsuit waiting. The bathrooms look like someone cooked meth in them and everything is broken or very nasty. Scared to touch anything. Even the handsanitizer has mold on it or black stuff. I have seen mechanic shops with less,black stuff everywhere. I hate to say all this. However it is true. This place is one of the worst places I have ever eaten. Soggy food,raw undercooked food,filthy,and even a hoarders house in comparison is cleaner. Shame on you all for serving human...
