Beautiful beach, great adjacent park and forest reservation.
Noshery beach bar and Chatty‘s pizzeria get you covered with food and drinks. Not as crowded as other places; diverse and friendly people.
My go-to beach on all days and a great spot for families (safeguarded areas) or surfers / paddle boarders / kayakers (area to the very right of the beach).
Dogs are not allowed officially, but they are also tolerated on the right side of the beach where the safeguard zone is ending.
If there is one thing to improve: add a little more sand on some of the areas; pebble stones can be quite sharp and cut into your feet...

Many nice asphalt paved walking paths across park and overlooking lake view. Large picnic area and tables throughout. Some with charcoal grills nearby. Excellent public restrooms with individual family style locking restrooms (separate entrances). Adult bench Swings overlooking lake. Snack stand open seasonally. Pavilion has two sections - front area is first come first serve . Back section is available by payment and reservation- see images and pavilion rules...
Read moreIt was fine. Snack bar and restrooms where good. But honestly not a great beach if you are trying to actually swim. The buoys laid out only make it to were the water hits let's say a 5foot person to their stomach. Every 10 seconds a lifeguard is yelling at someone to stay in the bouys. They treat it kinda like a public pool making people get out for a 15min break every hour. Be prepared to take a shower after swimming because the garbage and algae that will stick under your swimsuit is insane. Overall it's fine, more of a beach...
