Been here twice this summer 2024. I love that they have a newer accessible playground and they have updated the bathrooms and changing areas- also accessible. There is a nice ice cream stand, the Noshery, that also sells food. The ice cream 🍦 was so good! They have a huge picnic shelter that had four separate parties going on at the same time. The stairs are fairly steep to get down to the beach. There is an accessible point- the kayak / paddling access point. It looked like you could walk from a car right to the beach. The sand was smooth & fine and it seems like they are taking very good care to remove trash from the beach and other area. The lifeguards were nice, they post warning flags for beach conditions, green both times so far. There was a rip current warning on weather apps- but Huntington Beach did not have the warning flags out for them. The lifeguards do not want you on the break wall rocks- at all. Huntington Beach ⛱️ is the best place to go for you and the family. It has everything for all ages.

They have built a new playground that is awesome 👌 and my great grandkids love it. The playground out of this world. I have never seen a playground like that before. More importantly, it has benches around the playground so that you can enjoy 😉 my great grandkids having fun. Lastly, I found myself in the playground enjoying playing with them, showing them how some of the equipment works. So, if you're not a believer yet, I will be back to post some pictures. Better yet, just come on up to Huntington Beach and see 👀 it for yourself. Like they say, seeing is believing.

They have since built a new restroom area, and it is nice where you have your own privacy, and it even has 🚻 for the whole family to go in together.
