First time visit. Expectations. What can I say. Lovely evening, 68Degrees, it’s been raining for a few days but not tonight.Saturday night. Arrived, nobody inside everybody outside. No music, none. Waitress explained that it was $500 for a band or XM radio, and they just weren’t going to do it. No music. No heat to scare away the bugs, I asked for a fire, waitress said they would like a fire, closest came to tell us there’s not enough people here to light the fire, my last count was 60. Also she said it was too late to light a fire, 7:30 PM they close at 10 PM. She said somebody would have to stay to make sure the fire was out, and they weren’t going to do that. Menu, go to GFS, you’ll get better food. Or at least the same. No grill tonight, imagine our surprise. BurgersWe’re featured online but not available tonight. Imagine our surprise. We were told by the waiter that this is a winery not a restaurant-six times. Expected more expected better. Expected the fire, expected music.I understand they’re always busy. But I don’t understand why. Spent $50, maybe $60. It won’t happen again, did I mention that the owners are at Blossom music center enjoying a concert. But no music here. Imagine...
Read moreI guess we should have expected this from a winery in the backyard of another familie’s household. To begin with, we were encouraged to try all different wines without being informed that samples were $0.75 a sampl. So beware of trickery. After enjoying a fine conversation and mediocre glass of wine, we were disrespected with poor customer service asking us to come inside and close our tab so that the employees could close out the the drawer even though the establishment was not closed yet. All in general not a welcoming atmosphere that you would hope for out of a winery experience for a ladies night out. We are confused why they waited until the kitchen it closed until the staff chose to clear our appetizer plates and inform us of this pertinent information. Off to chick fila we...
Read moreWe hosted my father's celebration of life gathering at the outdoor pavilion today. The staff was efficient, attentive and kind. We ordered about five pizzas, all of which were excellent. They make their own dough and the ingredients were clearly fresh. Additionally, they allowed me to bring a vegetable tray and dessert from the farm market down the street as these were items they did not carry. We ordered the hummus and spinach dip to complement the veggies and both were excellent. Finally, when the check came, we were floored. The value for such high quality food and service was incredible. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for...
