Super Tire and Muffler Inc. — Local services in Bazetta Township

This was my first visit to Super Tire and will almost certainly be my last. I called on Saturday for an appointment for a wheel alignment. They didn’t have any open appointments but offered drop off service for Monday which I thought was nice. They even advised I could drop my car off Sunday night and leave my key in the night drop, which I took advantage of. On Monday I received a voicemail that they couldn’t do the alignment because my vehicle did not pass their suspension check and advised that I needed several repairs. When I called back, Dawna went over each service and the price they quoted. At no time did she tell me that they were charging me for the quotes. When I went to pick up my vehicle, she gave me the quotes and told me my bill was $37.31. When I asked what the bill was for, she replied it was for the services they provided. When I asked her what services, she said the quotes they provided for the work that needs done. I tried to explain that I never asked for the quotes nor was I aware that they charged for that service. That didn’t matter. She said that was what I owed, and she would not give my car back to me until I paid it. When I asked if I could speak to someone else, she said no, I’m the owner, you owe $37.31. As I continued to try to reason with her and explain that you can’t just charge somebody for something they didn’t ask for or know they were getting without their permission. At this point she became very rude and condescending and continued to tell me I owed the $37.31. If they would have at least given me the opportunity to decline the diagnostic service or called and said Hey your car didn’t pass our suspension check we can run a diagnostic service to tell you what you need to fix it will cost you $37.31 I might have even said OK, that’s fine go ahead. I know it’s not a lot of money but to charge someone for something they didn’t agree too and then threaten to hold their car hostage when they don’t want to pay is not right. I took my G/F's car in to get her exhaust done, they did a great job on fixing it (they always do good exhaust work) but then the mechanic wanted to bring me back to look at something. So I said "I know the sub-frame is pretty rusty" and he said "It might of been okay before but it's not fit to drive anymore" I said "okay so now what" then he said "whether it breaks on the way home or a week or month from now it's going to break and your tire will get sucked under your car and you will wreck so it's not safe to drive.. I mean I could fix it for you but you're looking at like $850-$1000 for that" So it was a bit of a shock to me that the sub-frame had rusted to the point of being unsafe to drive... but here is the kicker... the part that pisses me off... he installed the $300 exhaust + charged me the $55 in labor knowing damn well that the car wasn't safe to drive and he never said anything to me before he put the exhaust on... Now if someone see's something like an unsafe sub-frame on a vehicle don't you think the honest and correct thing to do would be to call the person back and show them what they found and tell them what their options are or be like "hey, this is what's wrong, the car isn't safe to drive, do you want me to still install this part or not?" I know that's what I would of done, it's not like people have $355 to throw away because someone doesn't have the decency to tell them what's going on...

Okay if y'all are looking for a good place please go here! I called while I was driving because it was close to where I was at and dawna got me in quick! Fast friendly service and good priced! The work they did was amazing!! I had 4 brand new tires put on at wholesale tire a few weeks ago because I'd been going there for years, as of now I'm a loyal customer of super tire and will be returning for anything in the future, I thought I had a slow leak on a tire from maybe picking something up on the road which can happen, I was surprised when the mechanic showed me it was leaking around the rim from sealant not being applied properly when new tires were put on, they also fixed the sensors so they read the proper tire as it should've been done when my new tires were put on by wholesale. I called wholesale to let them know about their mistake not only did I get talked at and told in a very non professional way to yell at me wholesale just lost 30 years of business from myself my friends for that reason I understand that mistakes happen but to be told well how do you know that was from us by wholesale, firstly my tires haven't been off since wholesale put them on until super tire fixed them properly, I understand mistakes can happen but when you have children in tow and need things to be done properly espically being tires and on the road ...if I could give a 10* to super tire I would, 10/10 I...
