Sherwood Apartments — Attraction in Bellflower

I have been a resident here at Sherwood for better than five years now, and I truly enjoy my home and our community! The grounds are maintained beautifully, thanks to our (in-house) grounds keepers and gardeners! The lush landscape is one of the reasons we fell in love with this community in the first place! We are a pretty tightknit community, and I have the pleasure of serving in our community; I am a minister, and have had the unique opportunity to host a Bible Study in our Rec. Room on Wednesday nights for a little more than two years now, primarily for the residents of this community. None of this could or even would be possible without an incredible manager and management team! I'd like to shot out Donna who does a tremendous job managing this site, I don't know how she does it, but she does an excellent job seeing to it that the facilities are maintained with the help of a diligent maintenance team: Luis, Jose, Liz, two other gents, and a new woman, they get it done! She also sees that requests are taken care of to the best of her abilities, but what I love is that she and her management team plan events to celebrate holidays, summer, etc. I remember during this pass Christmas season seeing Donna and staff transporting Santa to an area here where they were going to surprise some kids, and I looked on and thought that must be so exciting as a kid! She definitely puts her heart in her work! I definitely can't forget to shot out Giselle, Getsy, and Fredrick! Giselle is so upbeat and personable and specializes in results! Getsy is very sweet and calming, and I really enjoy her level of customer service! Fredrick, though he is no longer here, did an excellent job all around, and I really enjoyed him and appreciated him, he will be missed! Now, I know you may be wondering is everything perfect? No, but where can you find perfection?!! Not here on Earth! But what I also love is that our manager and management team are open to listen to ideas that we have to improve our community and experiences. I been living there for 2 years and so time. But not until now the manager and her stuff decided that I needed to move out since I wasn’t originally in the contract (the contract was signed by my family members and that was explained back then). We are a family who haven’t ever caused any problems at all. We all work very hard to maintain ourselves and our families. We are very humble and honest people. But this lady the manager was super very rude to me and not only that but she asked me to take my dog away from the apartments because that breed can’t be allowed! What!??? My little puppy is an English bulldog who never barks and is very calm. You hear all these other dogs barking all day long!! And she won’t say anything to other people. On another note! There is always that weed smell all over the place and people who doesn’t live there come and go to sell that there. I saw it! Even noticed the the plates from the guys truck who always go. Very sad!!!! THAT RIGHT THERE SHE NEEDS TO PAY ATTENTION SINCE THERE ARE MANY KIDS LIVING IN THERE!!! With families like mine, very hardworking and just wanting to have a place to live. Management lady is racist and always finding something to talk bad about. I have never seen so many roaches. After fumigation three times....these roaches will not go away.they thrive here at this complex! Terrible and unhealthy environment for kids..or anyone. But that's just one issue. And the fact that everyone is giving a bad review for that same person says a lot like if she going to become any richer just being in peoples business . huskies are not “allowed “ due to policies but the management lady has a huskie they said every case is different. They litterly wanna kick me out just to take care of a huskies puppy for 3 days . Doesn’t even live here . Like people need to make sense . If a policy is a policy so therefore everyone should be on the same boat this management people are racist and are very discriminated people . Cuz I can simply give a personal reason and u won’t validated but if other person validate a personal reason she’s more than welcome to have one doesn’t make sense .
