Squalicum Beach — Attraction in Bellingham

I absolutely Loved going here! This was the place, for a day of recharging and just being with mother nature, I took the left far side and walked a bit until I found the perfect spot, lol there was this perfect rock that was shaped like a recliner chair, no joke. I put my blanket all around me used my backpack as a pillow and enjoyed the view and a beautiful sun kissed Nap. Also there was a group of ppl kite surfing it was so cool, made it so much more, seeing them glide across the water and lift up a bit just gave me so much joy! Am posting a few videos I...

Beautiful Little Beach! Someone even gotten creative enough to make a cool platform all out of driftwood in one of the huge trees down the beach a bit. Mostly a Rocky Beach, with some Sandy spots. Wonderful Place to take your Dogs for a Walk (must be on a leash) or Kids to play on the Beach. Little Crabbies are under the rocks. Great climbing Trees along the Beach and a Trail or two to walk. Could use a Bathroom, even a porta-potty would work! Other than that I love this...

In Anchorage, alaska, I have Mt. Susitna -the great Sleeping Lady, to watch the sun slowly set over....and here in Bellingham (of all places!) I found this park. Squalicum Beach Park boasts nearly the same view -if you look at the mountains directly across from the parking area, you may notice that they look like the silhouette of a woman lying on her side, with her hair flowing.
