My cousin Elizabeth was married here on 7-31-21 and the wedding was incredible due in large part to the venue being at The Old Homestead. On my way to the location, my GPS acted up a little trying to find it but really there's no way you can miss it with the huge parking lot out in front of the building. It was an impressive venue that hosted appx. 100 guests. There was space enough for dancing and the caterers set up tables on the deck for dinner. Located in a secluded area of Crockett which was a big plus since it kept the surrounding noise to a minimum. The bright and sunny day along with the beautiful garden all came together nicely to give a Summer vibe to the wedding. And the bride and groom couldn't have been happier with their dream wedding at such a memorable location.

This place is absolutely beautiful! This past weekend my niece had her wedding at this magical place. Everyone loved it there and wanted to know more about the old Homestead and I kept on referring them to Tracy who is the coordinator there. What a pleasant and most professional person. Tracy and her assistant Julie were so helpful and provided us with the most courteous and excellent customer service. The setting of this place, the gorgeous home and the decades old Redwood trees is something that has to be experienced to absorb the beauty.

It doesn't look like much when you drive up , but when you get inside , it is really beautiful . My Granddaughter was married there on June 20 . It was held outside . It was pretty warm out . I would have preferred some kind of covering. It was a small wedding so there was plenty of room . It was surrounded with beautiful trees and foliage. We had a great time

I am a floral designer that has 2 decades of experiences with wedding flowers and private events in some of the bay areas A rated venues. I am writing this to advise that this venue put me in a very awkward situation. I arrived at The Old Homestead the morning of the wedding at approximately 10:00 am. I was then told that the bridal party did not have access to the facility until 12:00 pm. I understand there can be miscommunications and adjustments that require accommodation with client and facility on the day of the event. Therefore, I realized it was necessary for me to leave and coordinate another means to come back with all the flowers later. At that moment Maureen advised me that I could leave the flowers on the shaded back porch. This really helped my planning and I assumed it was an honest courtesy. They were tightly packed they would not block any entrances to the facility. I also accepted responsibility and took the risk that they would be safe as left. Upon returning with the remaining flowers I was informed the bridal party was being billed an additional $600 because they were left on the porch. I would not have unloaded the flowers if Maureen had communicated that this would incur cost to my client. I still feel very uncomfortable with the feeling of being deceived in this way. I did not find this facility professional and cannot...

Unassuming, paying for the venue is an investment into the property and local scholarships for students in the community. The Old Homestead is under amazing leadership, managed by amazing people, and the folks who turned over our Wedding Ceremony into the Reception layout made the day seamless. They have a list of vendors as well, and the majority of our vendors were chosen from their list because they were all so well reviewed. When you arrange your event here, you're apart of the community and it's history. The venue's natural beauty will leave a mark with your community and in your...
