JK Cafe — Restaurant in Benicia

It took me a while to realize this place had new owners. The sandwiches posted in the window finally drew me in, and what a welcome surprise. Their sandwiches are full of fillings and the best bang-for-the-buck in town, bar none! They do seem to cater to the high school kids, with bobas, smoothies and donuts, but except for student "rush hours", they're not too busy and sandwiches are made quickly. Are they more expensive than the junk at fast food franchises? Not much, and the quality is worth it. Their #24 turkey-bacon sandwich is 3 inches thick, packed with goodies and less than $10, and is about the most expensive offering on the menu. THIS is the place!!! Gets my morning going every single time without fail! Jack and his family of workers are incredible. Great service and excellent food and at an affordable price! This has been my go-to place since I first walked in and I couldn’t be happier.

I’d recommend the number 7 for a breakfast sandwich ( croissant egg cheese bacon) or for lunch the turkey pesto on a bagel. I just had it and it inspired me to write a review. Jack was kind enough to even deliver my food to the establishment down the street.

If I could give this place a better rating it would be 10 out of 5 stars. Cheers to you guys and I can’t wait to try the rest...

The store is definitely a well stocked convenience store for a town without a grocery store. It has everything from limited fresh produce to hygiene products. It does not have a huge selection, but it has a little bit of everything. The service was amazing. The attendant was pleasant and informative, and he played the guitar.
