Best place to go just to have some good old physical activities fun. I go every day after work. I got a monthly membership. Only 20$ even. Taxes included. They have an amazing schedule for dance classes, yoga(my fav), and many many more. A track up stairs where the classes and gym rooms are, where they also look down on the pool as yu work out. The track circles the whole gym, which includes sections of basket ball courts and then other one are what ever yu play by hitting whatever over a net (shrugs) the track has 3 or 4 lanes. Bathrooms that have a door that leads into the locker room where there are also hot showers etc. And then from the locker room yu can go to the pool. I find the place the best thing for me that I've found since I was little in the boys and girls club. I'm going to keep going everyday after work. I have trouble sleeping sometimes and my job should wear me out but most of the time not enough. So I go there shower come home hit the bed and out like a light every time.. I just do not see anything negative that could come from this place. My favorite person is the lady I first talked to and that checked me in and got me all set up and started. She sits at the very end when yu go inside closest to the gym doors. She is just awesome and genuinely seems amused and that's awesome in my book idc who yu are. A Friendly smile will save a life sometimes. She also remembered my horrible and horrible to remember and pronounce last name?! What?! Very impressed and touched that she would remember me. Anyways highly...
Read moreThis was our first time visiting Riverside Park. We came to swim, and I was very impressed with the layout of the swim park. The kiddie pool (1ft deep), has a variety of fun, interactive play stations for small children to swim in and around, to include an age appropriate slide. Further on, there’s a deeper part of the pool (3ft 6in) where older kids, or kids with floaties, can swim around. There’s a basketball hoop and a few balls for playing around with. Next to the deeper end, there’s a whirlpool that spins around (no floaties allowed in here, though). The big slide is open to those who are 48” or taller, and is well placed and seems safe with an abundant amount of railing up the stairs. There’s even a small walkway that starts shallow and goes deeper, I saw a few moms with little babies treading down this area, seems like a perfect way to introduce babies to the water as it’s seperated from the larger pools and out of the way from unwelcome splashes or kicks from other children. On the completely opposite side of the play park, is a deeper pool with swimming lanes, a diving board, and even an aqua rock climbing wall! Overall I’m very impressed with this facility. Very clean and organized. Lifeguards everywhere. It was only $4 per child and $5 for an adult for admission! Not bad! Does not seem overcrowded (we came at 10:30, they open at 10), and my daughter has enjoyed making new friends! We will...
Read moreMy niece had her birthday party here. The party room was small, but everything worked out. The toddler swimming area was good. But the lifeguards need to be held at a way much higher standard and trained better! MY 3 Y.O. son slipped right into the deeper part and the lifeguards DANGLED his floatly right above the water expecting a 3Y.O. to be able to grab it when his fingers were not even above water!! I had to verbally TELL the lifeguard to jump in and pull my drowning child above water!! He then got out of the pool took his Hoodie off then proceeded to talk to his lifeguard buddies that were huddled up. I went to tell this "lifegaurd" that a three year old whose hands were not even showing above water couldn't possibly grab his floatly he is dangling right above the water! The one in the chair stopped laughing just to tell me to "watch my tone". The supervisor (I'm guessing) came to me and told me he talked to the lifeguard and told him his mistake and he fixed it. Losing my child is not something you can fix with a coupon, or free food or something else. It is not customer service, it's life or death.
So don't expect nothing from them! 2/5/2022...
