** 2nd update The owner did try their best to make things right, even though they are currently in another country on vacation.
My money was refunded and I was offered a free massage at another location.
Unfortunately when I got to the other location today, even though it had been communicated to the person working there, she did not speak English, so, did not understand what I was trying to communicate with her. I did try her translator app but then a guy came in and asked for a walk in appointment so she helped him.
She did text me back a couple times begging me to come back because she was reprimanded after not helping me but I don't feel especially comfortable going back to any location after having the same issue twice.
Again I don't blame the owner at all. He and his sister in law tried to make it right even though he's in another county.
Got there and was told it would be 5-10 minutes... waited for 30 and was very patient however then a man walked in asked if they had an opening and they brought him back immediately...the lady looked at me and said she would add 5 minutes to mine for free... that is not an incentive to stay or adequate compensation for making me feel invisable so I left.
Of course if you make an online appointment they charge your bank account immediately...I have asked for a refund via email and text and heard nothing.
They made me feel like I and my business did not matter to them at all...
Amazing massage, one of the best I've ever had. She checked with me throughout to make sure the pressure was good and that I was comfortable. I will...
Read moreI first want to say that the place is very clean and everyone seems to enjoy their job. With that being said, this has to be one of the most awkward experiences and I'm not sure I'll be back. To start, they put me in the couples massage room to sit (I booked a single, 90min massage). After waiting for a bit, someone came to get me to take me to another room while almost walking in on several other rooms that were already occupied. Once the massage started the disparity between how hard she was rubbing with her elbow vs when she massaged with her hand was quite the difference. Elbow was like deep tissue and hands were a VERY light touch. She did ask if the pressure was "ok" and when I tried to tell her "less elbow pressure and more hand pressure" she replied "Sorry I don't speak english". Obviously this was frustrating because I couldn't communicate anything after that. As the massage continued, I noticed that the lady had crawled up in the bed next to me...something I've never experienced before. Also when the hot stones were introduced they were so hot when they touched my skin that I flinched and the lady laughed and continued to rub the stone on my back repeating "oh, is it hot". At that point I was counting down the minutes because I couldn't communicate anything about what was happening. I hope this constructive feedback does not hurt their business, but that they take the feedback to better the experience for others who come in. They did give me a bouquet of flowers for Mother's Day when I was paying, which was a nice touch, but I likely won't be returning because I was not relaxed...
Read moreI called in on the chance of getting in. I was greeted well when I arrived for a 60 minute full body, deep tissue massage. My masseuse, Lili, was wonderful great hands, and worked me over completely. She was very attentive and making sure I was comfortable throughout.
Lili's work was five stars. I knocked off one star, in general, as there was an issue with the tip. I paid for the massage up front and gave her what I felt was a very reasonable tip afterwards (20%). However, I am sure she expected to receive more than I gave to her. And again, English is not her first language. I could plainly see she was disappointed when I told her no more tip. That said, Lili was very nice, dressed well, physically talented and, again, professional throughout...
