Located in the Ashby BART parking lot makes it easy to get to, although when it's busiest sometimes parking gets harder.

A 'food court' in one corner offers mighty fine BBQ, fresh ginger juice drinks and a large fresh produce stand that makes a fantastic fruit salad mixing seasonal favorites berries, lime/lemon juice and a dash of pepper, if you like.

Then there's the legendary Drum Circle adjacent. From amateurs just starting to world class ethnic drum instructors, from simple beats to layers of syncopated rythmns. Often, skilled dancers join in, entertaining all and everyone stops by for some toe-tapping enjoyment....

Wow I went Saturday and couldn't believe my eyes the Berkeley Flea Market on Ashby BART has the window down to really nothing I grew up right across the street from this place and I we always look forward to Saturdays and Sundays for the flea market because people would walk past our house to get there and park their cars by our house so as a little girl I was able to have my own yard sales and my grandmother would give me items to sell her old person and stuff and this is what I've started my passion in cooking so I would make my peach cobbler and ice cream and would sell the buy the cups mind you I was maybe seven until in my thirties I did this I love the place but it...

I miss here so bad.i grew up here.back in the 80s.my name.is jericho.i used to hustle enough money setting up stands and selling books from my landlord who gave my mom books a lot.and selling at a half stall to get enough to go to the california theater off shattuck in Berkeley where this young dude would let me in for free as long as I enough money for the ticket prices then awesome for popcirn and drinks lol.i got to see all the cool 80s movies in the theater then not even a teenager yet lol. The best cheeseburgers were from a big truck that made them at this fleamarket back then and the best pizza then fat slice.on telegraph.great time...
