This place makes you feel like a carrier super booster....I asked them where i could finde somegthing electrical in English and they all of a sudden don't have...we out ...out hmmm I bet if I spoke Chinese they would have it." When will you get the part in."."oh I don't know" we no have "and they look at you like you are an alien from another planet....no... they just have everything else and they make you feel real uncomfortable. I had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday morning and needed a valve stem for a 70-year old shower. Ashby Lumber did not have it. I walked into Eastern and the owner immediately produced an exact replacement. Not only that, he advised me that the valve seat was probably also damaged and should be replaced. He had that part in stock also, along with the tool for extracting it. He gave me valuable advice how to go about making the repair. An hour later I completed the job. I was looking for a specific faucet cartridge and after visiting two other stores, I ran across Eastern Supplies. Walked in, handed my existing cartridge to the old man at the counter (I'm 63 so I think I can get away with that), he looks at it and grabs his extension stick to help him pull down a cartridge from up top. Two other stores had no idea what I had. Mr. Wizard looks up and around for a minute and pulls down the exact replacement. Seriously...
