Left my initial review a little over a week ago and rather than the company reaching out or responding to fix it they deleted my review so I will continue to post it every time they delete it...sorry if you don’t like it but being a business you should know better and remedy the situation rather than avoid it much like you have been avoiding the other bad reviews.
Office staff is terrible! I had a delivery scheduled for 2 weeks now, called twice the day before to confirm and had to leave a message both times. Had to reach out to the fundraising company who uses this company to take initiative since they wouldn’t call back. Moving company claims they have been trying to reach out when I have NO missed calls or messages from them. This is where I get irritated and yes, unfortunately I did develop an attitude when finally getting in touch with someone (so for that I do sincerely apologize). My mother also had this issue with them on Saturday where she had to reach out to the fundraising company the day before delivery because this moving company did not call her. She got the same bs lie of “oh we left you a message” nope not the case. So again they are using the same lie. And when I told the second lady I spoke to about this here she is calling me a liar saying she spoke to my mom directly...yeah you spoke to her directly when she called about a problem with one of the mattresses you moved in.... so here I am with this lady calling me a liar as well. But you’re a business. If you didn’t actually call don’t lie just say you forgot that simple. So much more understanding with something like that. I don’t make appointments for the hell of it...I just hope that the guys delivering make this a better experience because i know they work...

In the past 34 years, my husband and I have moved 11 times. We were so fortunate to have found Designer’s Choice Moving, a family owned moving company. It is not an exaggeration to say this was the most seamless move we have ever made. Designer’s Choice is efficient, professional and offers competitive prices. We have used national companies, religious based companies and companies that boast to be the best, but none can hold a candle to Designer’s Choice.
First, Don Aguilar, co-owner, moved some of our furniture across the country to our daughter. His team was not only punctual, they arrived early with the furniture and took great care during the delivery. The price was competitive and I was extremely impressed with their communication and efficiency.
Mark Aguilar, brother and co-owner, moved our home. I say home and not furniture because he treated our belongings with impeccable care and respect. I have never experienced a team that was more polite, professionally dressed, and efficient. Mark not only protected our furniture but the home he was removing it from. They made sure all our moving needs were met. Moreover, they left our new home completely set up. They even removed furniture we did not care to keep and delivered it to Habitat for Humanity for us.    Read moreDo not use this moving company. I would give zero stars if able. They moved my mother and she got absolutely fleeced. An antique dresser mirror was dropped and broken - that happens, I get it. But now we have been trying to have the issue corrected for over a 1.5 years now. The owner, Don, refuses to contact either one of us to settle with either repair or compensation. He has stolen the mirror frame now too as he won’t give it back. The movers didn’t secure stuff well enough so now furniture is chipped, scratched and some are broken. Again, something Don said he would make right and never followed through on. They brought the wrong sized truck and so we had to pay for the time it took for them to drive, empty it, drive to a storage unit, load up again, and then drive back to unload it. That added several hundred dollars to the total bill.
We provided lunch and water to the workers and we were charged for their mealtime. Also, they were observed standing in the truck texting and talking on the phone - all the while they are charging us for their socializing.
Some of the grievances could be overlooked, but as others point out, the owner Don does everything he can to avoid contact with his frustrated clients. Once your check is cashed they’ll never contact you again. I vehemently recommend NOT using...
