Alum Creek State Park Nature Center — Attraction in Berlin Township

I really miss the days when the naturalist was on site every day! When my daughters were young they would hang out daily with the nationalist. They even earned a Junior Ranger! So, I was not able to visit the nature center when it was open. But I am still rating it five stars for the facility and the list of activities. They had several opportunities throughout the week, they just didn't fit into our plans. The nature center area also provides plenty of other things to do. There is a basketball court, volleyball court, playground, horseshoe pits and plenty of shade! We visited today at a winter craft event. There was no charge for the activity just a registration needed.

The lady in charge of the activity was welcoming and friendly. Super supportive and a genuine asset to the facility. We spent an hour painting and enjoying the nature center.
