I'm an art nut, but decorative arts aren't usually my thing. However, I thoroughly enjoyed this museum! They have traveling exhibits - Summer 2024, we saw one about Bethlehem's hotels - and it was really interesting. Our docent was a delightful grandmotherly woman, and she told us about EVERYTHING in the museum. It's clear she loves what she does, and that's the kind of person who makes the best guide. Make sure you don't miss the hidden speakeasy when you visit!

A must-visit if you come to downtown Bethlehem. In fact, many people who live here haven't been to this quaint museum yet and that's just not acceptable. They have a fascinating permanent collection and rotate in special exhibits as well! Like the Purse Lady! (She's awesome)

Amazing, changing collection of mostly Victorian-era decorative artwork and furnishings, plus informative guides to put it in perspective. A hidden jewel in Bethlehem!

Okay so The Kemmerer Museum of Decorative Arts is INCREDIBLE The Attendant told me that it was built and designed out of three homes and there's just a numerous amount of exhibits ranging from a Victorian remake of a bedroom, tearoom, & office to a sports memorabilia, all the way to a dollhouse and youngster playtoys exhibit. HISTORIC BETHLEHEM NEVER FAILS TO IMPRESS AND WITH CITY HALL, THE LIBRARY, AND THE ROTUNDA GALLERY (NOT TO MENTION THE BREATHTAKING VIEWS) NEARBY YOU SHOULD NOT MISS...

Interesting visit, unique items to view. The Kemerer is part of a walking tour package of other museums around the historic district of Bethlehem which highlight the heritage and culture of 19th-century founders of a Moravian religious order. For history buffs, a great sidetrip here to the Lehigh Valley just north of...
