Beautiful 3.1 mile out and back hike up to Jenks lake with a loop around the lake. We saw lots of butterflies, lizards, and birds. There are several amazing red wood trees along the trail. The views of the mountains and lake are stunning. Not too many people out at the moment. Some are wearing masks, some aren’t. Amazing rewarding lake view at the end of the trail. Has nice benches for you to have lunch at the top once you get there as well as restrooms.. amazing views everywhere. Took us about 45 minutes to do it up and another 45 down but we were not rushing and were stopping to take pictures...
