Great place to go fishing. Super crowded in the summer. The lake is day use only and there's no human contact with the water (meaning NO swimming/ playing in the water). Gorgeous area. There's a fishing pier where you can see the fish and bird watch if you aren't fishing. Lots of picnic tables - can be challenging to find one in the shade! Parking is $5 and the lot is SMALL (about only 20 cars?). You can hike in from the 38 but it's an uphill hike with little shade on...
