It's not that I disliked it because I didn't. It was new and really nice. It didn't have too much parking which is actually ok since it's a smaller size park. It was that there was pebbles instead of grass or mulch. The pebbles heat up faster and can cause a burn risk for the dogs. Also I noticed my 2 smaller dogs didn't really want to walk on it much. When my male started playing with another dog that showed up (a medium sized dog) the only played chase on the walking path. I think this will be a great place in the winter to bring your dogs!!! It is nestled back behind a nature conservation area and is just 2 min drive to the Billerica state forest!!! The forest is located on a pond with tons of parking and marked trails. I have taken my dogs here many times and they love it!!! Just remember to bring your own poop bags and take them with you...

They made the park very safe, including the entrance to the parks with extra gates to ensure the dogs don't escape. The park was very clean. Baggies are provided and there are rubbish barrels...
Read moreJust visited the park this morning for the first time. I think it is very nice. It's great that water is available, as are poop bags, and trash bags. It's to my understanding that a pavilion will eventually be built for shade purposes, which will be nice. The down side is the peastone gravel. My yellow lab did not like to walk or run on it. I imagine it will get hot on hot days, but we were there early enough in the day, that it was not the issue. Guess we will stick with the Wilmington park...
