Vietnam Veterans Park — Attraction in Stow

I love this place. There's radio controlled planes to watch doing tricks, trails to hike, playgrounds fenced in for kids, soccer fields, a lake, 2 pokemon gyms and a stop, and a gardening plots for annual rental!!

Gardening is Very cheap. They even turn the soil over for you in the spring for you. In the fall to if requester. Garden is Fenced in. It has hoses and water plus community tools. They have a covered area near the garden and porta John's in spring through late fall that are spotlessly maintained.

Were in town for a graduation and saw the flags from a distance and decided to check it out. Awesome park filled with planes, a tank, helicopter and plaques explaining Dixon's role in WWI, WWII, Korea and Viet Nam. Nicely done. This memorial is on the west edge of Dixon on Rt.2 . This is one of the best and complete sites that I have seen. There is a fighter jet, tank, 105mm artillery piece and an Apache gunship. For a smaller park this place has it going on! You can fly a radio control airplane, fish, mountain bike, walk trails, hike, garden, picnic, go to the dog park, play soccer, ride horses, bmx bike track! My fingers are getting cramped just typing how many things there are and I'm not even finished. I see dog training classes, archery classes, water rescue (winter and summer) classes.
