It was noticeable that the height difference even though it’s a fraction also had a glaring disparaging non-shiny area at that specific joint. Upon contacting Gene, who is one of the two partners/owners the other owner being Nadsas, who was at our home the following week to assess the problem. He explains since quartz is a natural stone, It’s very hard to bring the true shine back but! he would do his best to give it a better appearance. But! if it was not as good as he and we hoped it would look like the next time he came, then Granite Design was going to give us a brand new quartz peninsula countertop over approximately 20 feet in length. I mean, what company does that in today’s day and age? Know One!! when we spoke about the repair at that time last week he would have to check with another manufacturer, if there was a better material that the consumer couldn’t get? In other words is there more proficient chemicals out there. The following week, Nadsas returned to our home with a four part repair system of different chemicals and materials, Well,we are so happy that we went to Granite Design ( Billerica) to purchase for our new home, the kitchen countertops we wanted. And the follow up service is incredible. In all my years as a customer, I have never seen the honesty and dedication that these two partners have For their product, And their customers. I clearly could have just typed out something that in 30 seconds, said hey go here they are the best. Don’t waste your money on any place else. So for you people reading this that are not as long-winded as me. Well...

I initially chose this company for a quartz countertop and paid a deposit. However, after finding out that Home Depot offered the same countertop for $3,000 less, I decided to switch. The company initially seemed accommodating and allowed me to get my deposit back to purchase from Home Depot.

The real issue arose when I received my refund and found that $400 was missing. This deduction was particularly shocking given that their service involved only a ten-minute measurement at my home. Adding to my frustration, they arrived nearly four hours late for this brief appointment, causing significant inconvenience and making me late for work. Despite this, they offered no apology or explanation for their tardiness and entitled themselves to $400 of my deposit. While I would have understood a $150 deduction to cover transportation costs and reasonable profit, their choice to charge nearly triple the standard site visit fee without prior notice felt not only excessive but also strikingly dishonest.

This experience has left me feeling frustrated and deceived. The lack of transparency regarding excessive fees, coupled with poor customer service and disrespect of their customers time, is a significant concern.
