I used the boat ramp area. There were some transients residing in the parking area. Just wanted to find a spot to throw a chair in the water and relax for a bit. Its definitely a very rocky and slippery spot. It worked for the day but I probably won't use it again. I didn't check out the actual park though so can't speak to what that's like.

Place was a little sketchy. Not much there but some parking and concrete almost to the river. Maybe it's under construction. Give this review a like👍 or mark as helpful♥️ if your reading this😁 Could jump on the jack dimmer trail but only to get from point a to b. Very industrial for being on the yellow stone river.

Coulson Park is a bit primitive today, but with some beautiful views. Plans were being developed to enhance the land and views, for wide public use.

Wait ! A Master Plan was indeed developed for Coulson Park. Estimated cost was about $16 million. But, Billings could not get its act together. Blame was placed on COVID; yeah, that was part of the problem. But the real problem was lack of leadership.

Billings has absolutely NO leadership. The City could not plan its way out of a wet paper bag. The Mayor and the entire City Council simply react. Often their reaction is to do nothing.

Coulson Park could have been a major enhancement to Billings, if properly built and marketed. But that takes initiative and leadership,...

This park turned out to offer a lot more than I originally thought, there are some bathrooms (little risky though), a boat ramp, a good amount of places to have a picnic or just hang out for the day and places to fish right off the Yellowstone river bank. There is an area of trees by the front of the park that had a large amount of birds singing. It sounded like a aviary with all the different birds, I want to go back just to check out how many birds I can find and photograph. There is still some mud type materials at the far end, but it even looks like there is plant life introduced to turn it back to a lush...

The road leading up to this park is unpaved dirt and small to medium rocksall over the road on even road surface there were about five trees in the whole entire park to park your vehicle underthere was a dead deer carcass on the outside of the fence right next to the park separating the park from the highwaya lot of traffic in and out of there although I did see a couple families walking on the trail throughout that park next to the riverthis park overall was poorly maintained poorly shaded the access to this park sucked and the only bathroom in the...
