Red Mountain — Attraction in Birmingham

Church group of six (ages 10 to 66) spent a fun morning experiencing the Vulcan Zipline at Red Mountain Park. It was an awesome adventure for all. Expect a short hike through woods to the Zipline Basecamp. Knowledgeable and entertaining guides put safety first as they led the crew through the zips, a rope bridge and repel. It was the 1st Zipline experience for 5 of the 6 members of our team and all want to go back and do it again. I'm the 66-year-old zipline veteran and this offering isn't anywhere near as extreme as zip lines in Costa Rica, Honduras or Alaska...but it was a delightful, fun experience to have...

I typically go to Red Mountain to go on a nice, casual hike with my dog. Not only is Remy's Dog Park located here, but they also have great walkable trails. The dog park here is huge!
