My company was looking to create some individual award trophies and we came in to look. The man who greeted us was quick to ask us our budget. Felt car salesmanesque. Not knowing how to answer I said we weren’t sure but perhaps $50-100. He quickly said why don’t y’all go look. No problem. As I began to ask questions about customizing he kept sticking to what’s your budget? Finally I said I don’t know and he responded with, “I don’t know if you can afford the specific cutout for that trophy type.”
Customer education is important. We’d happily have listened to why these items cost more and for quality would’ve spent it. But insinuations such as our ability to afford LOST business. I’ll follow up with what we spent. We’d have spent whatever it cost for what we wanted. Learn HOW to say, WHAT to say and WHEN to say it. I’ve never encountered someone insulting me without knowing me in this capacity before. When someone shows you who they...
Read moreI visited this business today May 7 2020. I left with my newspaper article about my grandson destroyed! Terry was the associate and the worst customer service person I have ever dealt with! He acted as if he didn’t have time to help me with my order. He did have time however to tell me the cost would be $185. His attention to the request I made concerning the size and mounting for this very personal project was an attitude of dis concern. His remark as he walked into the back of the shop to trim my article was”I’m not responsible for any mistakes I make” When he returned he had butchered and ruined the article. This was the worst customer service I have ever encountered. My only copy of a very personal news article concerning my grandson destroyed by a non caring associate! I will share my nightmare with all my colleagues and...

I accept the fact that I was late picking up my son's AHSAA state championship soccer trophy (it was ready in June and it is now August) but never in my wildest dreams did I think that they would THROW AWAY an almost $40 trophy that I had already paid for! I live out of town and my trip to Birmingham was canceled due to my son's doctor's appointment at Children's being rescheduled. I didn't have it shipped for fear it would end up broken. I bet they would have kept the trophy if I hadn't paid for it upfront! How do I even know that they didn't just remove the plaques and reuse the...
