I’ve been a loyal customer of the restaurant for years - no exaggeration. It’s hands-down the best spot in town, and I go 2–3 times a week without fail. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistent. Whether it’s a quick lunch or a dinner with friends, I’ve never once left disappointed from the physical location. The service is usually kind, the atmosphere is welcoming, and they’ve truly built something special there.
That said… the taco truck is a completely different story. And unfortunately, I can’t keep quiet about it anymore.
The truck staff are consistently rude, short with customers, and just flat-out careless. I’ve watched them roll their eyes at people, speak in a condescending tone, and act like doing their job is some massive inconvenience. I’ve also experienced being overcharged, ignored at the window, and even skipped over in line while they served friends or regulars they actually like. It’s disrespectful — especially when I’m not some random walk-up customer, I’m someone who has supported this business for a long time.
What’s frustrating is that the quality of the food at the truck doesn’t match the restaurant either. Orders are wrong, portions are smaller, and it feels like they’re just trying to rush everyone through and make a quick buck — not provide the same care and quality that makes the restaurant great.
And the worst part? When you try to say something or give feedback, they get defensive or just shrug it off. No accountability. No professionalism. Just attitude.
It’s honestly disappointing. I love the main restaurant, I’ll probably still go — but I’m done with the taco truck. And I hate that I even have to say that, because I’ve always been a proud supporter of this place. But they’re losing loyal customers by letting the truck operate like this, and I hope someone higher up is paying attention.
Bottom line: Restaurant = 10/10. Taco truck...
Read moreWe went here on a very cold January winter night.
Our first impression of the restaurant is that it was also cold. Like, REALLY COLD. There seemed to be this enormous draft from the front entrance. Anywho, out came the chips and salsa (I liked the salsa, my husband did not). We ordered drinks (including a sweet tea that I never received.) We looked over the menu and ordered some items. My husband had mixed fajitas, I ate tacos, and my son had a quesadilla. Overall I enjoyed my food with the exception of the grilled onion and jalepeño, which were both cool to the touch and seemed to be lacking on flavor. My son was satisfied with his quesadilla, but my husband was not too thrilled with his fajitas. A few menu items are particularly expensive (such as the cheese dip, at $5 for a small bowl), and unfortunately they didn't have any tres leche cake at the time 😞 There is no changing table in the restroom.
Anyway, our meal ended up being over 60 dollars. I believe it would have been much more enjoyable without two small children annoying us, but such is the life...
