Cedar Grove Pack Station — Attraction in Bishop

The website clearly stated that no reservations were needed and listed business hours as 8 AM to 5 PM. After nearly a 4-hour drive through the mountains, we arrived at 3:28 PM—well within business hours—only to be told by the person in charge, in an unfriendly tone, that they were done for the day.

My two children were completely heartbroken. What made it worse was that even the kids could feel the unwelcoming attitude. It left us wondering—was this racial discrimination?
