Mobius Arch — Attraction in Bishop

Mobius Arch is one of those places that makes you stop and just breathe for a second. The short hike in is easy but beautiful — weaving through those crazy, ancient rocks until you stumble right into the perfect natural frame for Mount Whitney. Love this place. I’ve been traveling to Mammoth and the eastern Sierras for nearly 45 years and did not realize that this arch existed until 2024. Easy to get to. I can only imagine what this place looks like just after a snowfall! The trail to the arch is a loop. We went right. After getting to the arch and returning to our car by completing the loop, we noticed that we could’ve started going left instead and got to the arch quicker.
