We weren't expecting too much from the Alabama Hills, just a fun little spot to stretch our legs in Lone Pine. We were totally blown away by the beauty here. Just driving through the area was fascinating! The Arch Loop Trail is quick and easy and ends with an amazing view of the arch. We were there around sunset and it surely did not disappoint.

The Arch Loop Trail is a great trail to hike in Alabama Hills. There are multiple arches and rock outcroppings to see and the loop trail is about a mile long and fairly easy. Well worth hiking for the scenery and views.

Here is like Joshua tree, lots of rocks to let you climb. But what amazes me are those desert flowers. They are standing out from this desert environment.
