National Sports Center — Attraction in Blaine

#JoyfulNoise2019!! My Husband and I went to The Joyful Noise Concert for our first time on Friday Evening!! The Weather was perfect and it was so fun to watch all of the people there on their blankets and fold up chairs and in the bleachers and it was very well organized. Even young families and children were playing and listening to the music...it was a very comfortable atmosphere and beautiful Summer Evening!! There will be another all day event with more Bands playing on Saturday!! Ktis 98.5 FM Radio sponsored this and it was just wonderful with the Bands...Teen Challenge, Sanctus Real, Rend Collective and Crowder!! There were many food booths set up selling fun new foods ...we tried some cheese curds and some chicken tortillas and a Strawberry Smoothie that was Delicious!! We also tried some cinnamon and sugar cheese and apple stuffed wontons that were very delicious!! They were selling Joyful Noise T- shirts and other missionary events going on there!! They had many golf carts picking up and dropping off people from the parking lots and this was So Appreciated!! A...

My Spirit leaped for joy BIG TIME when I got tickets to go. I stood in line for 2+ hrs. Just to be 1st in line for Danny Gokey merchandise. And stood 4+ hrs in line to be 1st to get an autograph and picture with him. I was so excited the 1st thing I said to him was "I love you." When I really wanted to tell him how 2 of his songs helped heal me along with God after I lost someone dear to me on Nov. 1st and 2nd to gun Violence. I was there and saw and barely made it into the hospital to say goodbye as he was seriously not going to live. I WILL ALWAYS MISS HIM AND THE INNOCENCE HE BROUGHT BACK TO MY LIFE. I play soccer here for Twin Cities Rush, and this sports facility is amazing. The port-a-potties are actually pretty clean. The only 2 complaints I have… which 1 is not a huge deal, but a bit of a pain, is that the port-a-potties are spaced out, and sometimes you have to walk across 5 fields to get to one. The 2nd and last complaint I have is the referees. All of the refs my team had during Target USA Cup 2024 were horrible. One was always in the way of our players, and they never make any calls.
