Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in Blaine

I stopped in for a drink with a friend because we hadn’t been there in a while so we also didn’t know the menu at all. We did come in just before 8 but didn’t realize that was closing time. The lady behind the counter didn’t greet us, didn’t say anything kind. I asked her if the refresher was still around and she stated nope that’s Starbucks I giggled and apologized and said oh I’m sorry I don’t go to either enough. Then I asked her what exactly the summer vibe drinks are and she said, that’s the bousted drink, I asked what’s that and she rudely stated “a drink” then yelled for the guy working and said help them. after that he came over and helped, he was great, explained what the drinks were and helped us out. After that we literally sat for 2 seconds when the rude lady (short hair, younger heavier set female) said “you can’t be in here” and we thought ok why? But she already walked away. So we started laughing at how ridiculously rude she was. It’s sad that she hates her job and was having a bad day and took it out on my friend and I. Won’t be back due to her complete Disregard to us as customers, or people rather. Hopefully one day she will realize this is not acceptable at all and it’s horrible for...

Kinda bummed. Drove here to surprise my husband for our anniversary with a nice coffee to wake up to.... spent 13 dollars on two drinks and tipped only to get home and dump out both drinks because they tasted awful. Was really looking forward to starting our morning off right but unfortunately it won't be because of caribou.... seems like everytime I go it's hit or miss these days with the consistency of the drinks. I worked for caribou for a few years and it's a shame that you can't rely on the drink to taste the same when you go. Guess it's time to take my business to scooters coffee. I have always been a caribou gal but I can't afford the waste anymore.

Edit 4/4/24 Still in a love hate relationship. Sometimes drinks are amazing and hit the spot. Other days it's not good. Espresso tastes burnt and watered down . I have noticed there's less of this chance when you go inside vs the drive thru. But either way there's still some days where the drink is just off more...

I would not recommend this location to anyone. I’ve went to this store at least 30 times in the last 2 years, and every single time the staff takes so long to simply make a cup of coffee and a sandwich even when I am the only one in line. To top it off the staff is unaware of their surroundings and when they finally are, they are rude. This last time it took at least 5 minutes for the barista to notice me, and when she did she was snobby and proceeded to take all of my time before my appointment when I left 20 minutes in between, which is annoying considering my sandwich wasn’t even hot and she took 5 minutes to make a turtle mocha. I was a barista and this is not only an easy occupation, but also a fun one! Caribou is my favorite, but after this last time I had to write a review because it is obviously going unnoticed by management.
