Saw the Nutcracker here last night. It was a great show. We were in the Schneider Theatre and there wasn’t a bad seat in the house. Our seats were row E towards the middle. Great seats! But even if you were further back, it’s a smaller theatre so you can’t go wrong.

Wednesday evening farmer’s market and live music is a lot of fun! Plenty of variety in the food vendors so everyone finds something they can eat. NorthStar Tavern had three great brews on tap at their tent the evening we went.

I went to see a musical play by ARTISTRY Theater and visual arts called "Once on this island" . The play was great. The center was beautiful, it had a art gallery, a gift shop and beautifully decorated

Shrek the Musical Review (only) - my 10yo daughter, husband, and I saw the matinee of Shrek today at Artistry and it unfortunately wasn’t comparable to any other musical theater we’ve seen in the Twin Cities.

On a positive note all the singers had beautiful voices, when we could hear them. The orchestra was completely overpowering so for about half the show we could not hear the words being sung. We were in the first row next to the orchestra pit, but have not experienced this issue in other theaters.

Fiona was very good & quite entertaining, but shrek was not, he was mundane and non-expressive. They had a golden opportunity with Lord Farquad, but all of his jokes were old and overused.

Lastly, there were way too many songs (even for a musical!) which caused the play to run at least 45 minutes longer than it should have (the running time is 2:45 including a 15 min intermission.) There were songs made out of every, single moment, many of which didn’t even make sense.

At the price we paid, total $124 for the 3 of us, I was expecting at least a similar experience to the...

Great theatre company in the heart of Bloomington! The customer service during the ticket purchasing and before the show is great! The quality of the product is top notch! Each show is led by excellent actresses & actors working within beautiful sets and often times feature a live band/orchestra. They do require masks to be worn by the audience while in the theatre and the DO enforce it, which is a plus! I can't recommend enough! Buy a ticket, sit...

An excellent space for all sorts of events. I go to the farmers market weekly here in the summer where they have a plethora of fresh veggies and food trucks, and have also been in for many plays and the nutcracker ballet. Staff is friendly, and their a rotating art exhibit by the entrance that always has something interesting on display to check out. Convenient location as well, next to PD, DMV and other...
