Worst. I waited a few weeks before writing this, to decide what would be fair and see if I softened. Now, I see that management is responding to reviews - but couldn't be bothered to respond to this situation at the time. Went there with husband for anniversary. My husband's coke was clearly diet (which he did not order) and was just syrup. He asked for another - was treated like a troublemaker in kindergarten - it was the same. My beer had a slush of ice on top, so of course no carbonation. There was a horrible loud grinding sound that lasted about 6 minutes - twice - so loud we had to stop talking and just wait it out. Even before our food came, we got so fed up that we decided to leave. My husband went to talk to them, and I waited and waited in the parking lot. Finally went back in - they had told him they had already started his pizza so he had to pay for for it!! No regard for the customer experience, and just plain bold. By that time, I didn't even want to argue with them. The hostess didn't look up from her texting either time I went in and out. WORST restaurant experience in memory. They clearly have captive hotel guest business and couldn't give a flying * about anything beyond collecting customers' money. It was a game day, but the place was deserted. We should have known. Bloomington, join together to boycott this overpriced, ridiculous excuse for...
Read moreThis location has gone downhill very quickly! We met another couple there - we were late, and the other couple had ordered drinks before we got there. About 10 minutes after we arrived, the waiter brought their drinks, and took our drink order. Approximately 20 minutes later, he brought my husband's iced tea, and took our food order. The food arrived fairly quickly, but I still didn't have my drink. I asked the server about it. He said he'd check. He came back, and informed me that they were out of ginger beer, so they couldn't make my drink. My burger was okay, but the bun was soaked with sauce, so it fell apart, and I had to eat it with a fork. My hubby and one friend both ordered the K. Lodge walleye - hers was a large piece, about 1/2" thick, and was done very nicely. My hubby's piece was about half the size, and so dry that parts of it couldn't be cut with a knife. He ordered mashed potatoes, but received sweet potato fries instead. My friend said that was just as well, because the mashed potatoes obviously came out of a bag, and had a skin on top. I don't know what happened to this location - it used to be good. The restaurant was not busy, but the few other patrons there could be seen looking around for a server to bring their drinks or their bill or whatever. I should have ordered the pizza. I don't think we will return to...
Read moreWe sat down at a booth in the bar area. It was busy, so after about 10 minutes we asked the bar tender to grab the server for us. The pizza rolls we ordered were like Italian egg rolls. I was expecting something different. They were ok. Not worth $9. I had to flag the server down and let them know I wanted coleslaw not fries with my dinner because he walked away right as I ordered. He argued that it wasn’t an option even though its printed on the menu. Before dinner came the server walked by and grabbed my empty beer glass and walked away. Didn’t ask if I wanted another, just took it and left. The manager stopped by right after the food was dropped off and got me my drink order, and went to get the coleslaw. After our food arrived they decided to let us know there was bread with the pasta. They brought the bread, it was cold. Like out of a refrigerator. Room temp would be fine, warmed up bread is great. Cold bread with pasta isn’t very good. I’m thinking the server might of been busy or new. I appreciate the manager correcting mistakes. Problem for me is I have been to a few green mill locations and always had great. I would be willing to try again but I wouldn’t expect this place to be up to the brand standard. I just feel so disappointed...
