Bliss Chocolatier — Attraction in Blue Springs

I can't praise Jessica and the Bliss team enough. I've worked with Bliss on a professional level, as a wholesale client, and as a personal shopper. On the business front I cant stress how valuable vendors with amazing communication and follow through are. I definitely test the relationship with ridiculous requests every now and then and Jessica is always there to support. On the chocolate and personal shopping front Bliss is my absolute favorite chocolatier in Kansas City. I'm happy to drive the 40 minutes to Blue Springs to pick up a few sweet treats for friends and family. I love the seasonal treats or even just grabbing a single dark chocolate bonbon for the road. This place is a delight! I'm so glad I heard about it opening. We went on opening day (crowded!) and I have been back several times since for both myself and to purchase gifts for others. The bonbons are amazing, like tiny desserts in beautiful gems. Each one is a different flavor (from Key Lime Cheesecake to Hazelnut Crunch to straight chocolate ganaches!), but they will also create special items for holidays. There are also chocolate bars, poppable bites, and something I have yet to try - Sponge Toffee. If you love fine chocolates, beautiful presentations, or need a special gift, give this place a try! We stopped in with our little family on Saturday. The shop is gorgeous and we were met with a warm smile and willingness to help with whatever we needed. All of our curiosity was met with kindness and we left with the most delicious chocolate I've ever had. My young son chose a Gingerbread Caramel Hot Chocolate Spoon and he enjoyed it so much that he has requested more for his Christmas stocking and mom & dad will get one too this time. My favorite bonbon was the Cherry Pie & Lemon Meringue & Sea Turtle. We will be back with haste to pick up some of the beautiful chocolate bars for Christmas.
