This is specifically for the Raleigh Street Cinema which is part of the Granada theater. Don't go there if it's a movie you care about seeing, or more specifically, hearing. The theaters are not sound proof and the sound from the other movie (there are only two screens) bleeds over. This is annoying, but would probably be okay if the sound coming from your movie didn't sound like it was just being blasted over a PA. They are not standard THX/surround sound. I'm not just saying the sound wasn't perfect, I'm saying it only barely, if at all, outperforms a drive-in theater in terms of quality. The seats aren't what you would expect from a modern theater, but they are clean and new. The screens are very small, but that's pretty much to be expected in a location like this. The biggest issue and the reason I left 30 minutes into my movie, is the atrocious sound.
The Granada theater itself is very nicely done and I highly recommend going there to catch a play or...
ย ย ย Read moreI'm so glad for a classic movie experience. The prices are great to see even the latest movie. I want the arcade up and running better. The bathrooms are always clean, even in the modern downstairs. I do wish they had more parking all the way around. Better security would be a good idea, too. The audio in the historic portion could be a bit better. I wish they could bring in more musical or band performers like a stage show or something to use the historic portion better. The staff is always pleasant. They need to bring back the Gelato parlor on these hot summer days. I would and would prefer to see movies here over the new remodeled one...

However, there are only 2 booths that sell both tickets and concessions, so the line was long and the movie had already started by the time we got inside. Next time I would definitely buy my tickets online beforehand and wait until after the movie has started to get popcorn. Note, you can buy your tickets in the ice cream shop, which is faster, but alas, no...
