Weekend Dog Beach — Attraction in Boca Raton

Our pup isn't a fan of the ocean but he has a great time here regardless. It's pretty, people are very nice, and you can hang out whether or not you have a dog with you. Sometimes people need to be more mindful of their dogs and have more control over them if they're loose but I guess that's the case with any pet park you go to. If we were Boca residents, we would definitely get the annual permit for $31 but for non-residents, $167 for the annual or $11 for the weekend is just crazy. I get the reason behind it but we can go to free dog beaches further north that are just as nice....

Beautiful beach. Took my dogs there and it's true, they allow dogs only after 5:00pm. The one thing I didn't see in all the reviews is that you need a permit for your pup. They have security there checking for permits. So probably won't go back. Rather go...
